According to eyewitnesses in Bahrain, Saudi forces attacked Hazrat Zainab Masjid in Hamad town and set it on fire and burned all holy objects including holy Quran.

The masked men threw Molotov cocktails in to the Masjid and burned it.

Two more mosques desecrated, destroyed in Bahrain by Saudi forces

Manama, April 18 (Agencies) – As part of its brutal, bloody and blasphemous suppression of Bahrain's long-oppressed majority, the repressive Aal-e Khalifa minority regime, with the help of Saudi invasion forces has intensified crackdown on the people, and on Sunday it desecrated and demolished two more mosques.



On Sunday the regime's forces attacked mourners commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of the Prophet's (SAWA) beloved daughter, Hazrat Fatema Zahra (SA) in the towns of Sanabis and Daih. Gunfire was heard and several people were abducted by the regime's forces.

Despite a martial law in effect since mid-March, and the arrests of hundreds of opposition figures and political activists to further stifle the opposition, demonstrations continue in Manama and other cities.

Scores of people have been martyred and many others gone missing during the crackdown.

Meanwhile, the security forces fired tear gas into several religious sites across the country and two mosques were desecrated and demolished -- one in Karzakan and another in A'ali.

Several mosques have been desecrated and destroyed so far as part of the Saudi-backed forces' crackdown, resulting in the burning copies of the holy Qur'an.

Earlier this month, a video footage showed a mosque in the northern town of Kawarah desecrated and destroyed in attacks by the sacrilegious Saudi forces.

In a series of pictures depicting the brutal crackdown of the peaceful protestors, the video also showed burned pages of the holy Qur'an buried under masses of debris.

Anti-Saudi sentiment is rising in Bahrain, where people are calling for an end to two centuries of the Aal- Khalifa minority regime's repressive rule of the Persian Gulf island state.
